On May 20th, we’re celebrating Food Revolution Day to raise awareness about Jamie Oliver’s wonderful initiative to promote food education and better access to good, fresh, nutritious food around the world.

To mark the special occasion, Jamie will be kicking off the day with a relay of live videos on his Facebook page then handing over the event to culinary leaders in 10 countries, including Canada, who will share their healthy eating advice, food inspiration and must-try cooking skills.

Salmon with Pesto-Dressed Veggies

Salmon is a great source of both omega 3, which helps to keep our hearts healthy, and vitamin D which helps to make our bones and teeth strong. This delicious dish is served with pesto-dressed potatoes and fresh greens.

Roast Chicken

Although we love a good oily fish, we know not everyone enjoys seafood. If you’re craving a fish-free meal, try Jamie’s recipe for whole roasted chicken. This flavourful, juicy recipe is served alongside garlicky root vegetables. And we recommend starting with this simple green salad with lemon dressing to whet the palate before the main event.
